United States and is highly skilled and knowledgeable in dryers and drying technology. Steve also spent several years with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) with focus on processing and manufacturing. During his time with USAID, he partnered with over 40 facilities in more than 15 different countries. Steve worked as the Director of International Operations for Land O’Lakes prior to founding Great Plains Processing.

In 2000, GPP operated solely as a manufacturing facility, drying numerous products for the feed industry. During our first few years, GPP added more packaging lines and production systems to keep up with our customers’ expectations. We upgraded equipment, overhauled the existing equipment, and implemented new systems to produce safe and quality products.

In 2007, GPP received its first FAMI-QS certification, and we continue with annual surveillance inspections. Also in 2007, a dedicated logistics team was added to meet the growing demands and changing needs of our customers. We currently ship both domestically and internationally to more than 40 countries worldwide.

In 2011, we added sales staff, which currently focuses on procuring competitively priced and readily available raw products through our approved list of suppliers. With an extensive supplier verification process, we can assure your business gets a safe, quality product every time.

In September 2011, our processes were verified by SGS for producing Identity Preserved product, and GPP has been re-certified annually.

In 2016, Great Plains Processing introduced Pro+; a new nutritional supplement for all species of livestock that contains digestible sources of peptides, amino acids, and trace materials. Pro+ is produced exclusively at our state-of-the-art facility in Luverne, Minnesota under the strictest quality standards available. When incorporated into a well-balanced diet,  Pro+ drives feed intake leading to optimal growth, condition, and health.
